I projektet utvecklas uppmuntrande och \u00e5sk\u00e5dliga \u00f6vningar och l\u00e4romaterial f\u00f6r att inspirera eleverna (och l\u00e4rarna samt indirekt elevernas f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrar och n\u00e4rmaste krets) att iaktta principer f\u00f6r h\u00e5llbar utveckling i sina egna aktioner. Temana inkluderar bl.a. f\u00f6rnybar energi, n\u00e4ring, vatten- och koldioxidavtryck. Eleverna handleds att unders\u00f6ka, observera, rapportera och till\u00e4mpa sina kunskaper och insikter i praktiken.<\/p>\n<p>I delen Fascinerande stenar \u00e4r m\u00e5let att \u00f6ka medvetenheten om sten som material, dess m\u00e5ngsidiga anv\u00e4ndningsm\u00f6jligheter, bearbetning av sten och stenindustrin som arbetsgivare. Projektets utvecklingsskede har gett upphov till stadsorienteringsbanor, d\u00e4r eleverna bekantar sig med stenobjekt som finns l\u00e4ngs rutten och samtidigt f\u00e5r information om bland annat stenarter, stenars uppkomst, bearbetning av sten och olika anv\u00e4ndningss\u00e4tt. Orienteringarna har f\u00f6rverkligats med tv\u00e5 olika niv\u00e5er, i pilotskedet f\u00f6r f\u00f6rskolan och h\u00f6gstadiet.
